Sermon Series: January 4 - February 2
We track and measure everything and sometimes, we think the only numbers that really matter are the big ones. BRCC is joining the movement that challenges us all to focus on this number: the number one.
I’m excited to see what the Lord will do during our 30 days of prayer and fasting. This year our emphasis will be, evangelism. We don’t need another method of evangelism, what we need is a white-hot passion to see people who are far from God experience the new life He offers through Jesus Christ.
It doesn’t matter if we build a sanctuary, remodel our facility, plant more churches, or preach more sermons if we’re not intent on sharing the gospel of Christ and seeing it change one life at a time. That’s why we’re launching, Who’s Your One. We will be asking each person at BRCC, “Who’s your one? Who is the person that you are praying for and witnessing to?”
My prayer is that through the next 30 days we can re-frame evangelism for our congregation and begin to see a passion for sharing our faith with the individual(s) that the Lord lays on our heart. I’ve identified my One, and I’m excited to see what God has in store. By God’s grace, we can all partner to reach our One(s).
Glad the tomb is empty!
